We’re always here for you. If you have any questions, just ask us in clinic. Here is our general guide of do’s and don’ts to help your treatment results shine.

  • After Botox — Do’s.

    • Stay upright for at least 4 hours after your treatment.

    • Gently move your treated muscles (frown, smile, raise eyebrows) for the first hour to help the Botox settle.

    • Keep hydrated, water is your friend!

    • Apply a cold compress if you notice any mild swelling or tenderness.

    • Enjoy your results and be patient, they usually settle in 7–14 days.

    After Botox — Don’ts

    • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours.

    • Skip intense exercise, alcohol, or saunas for the first 24 hours.

    • Don’t have facials, peels, or other skin treatments on the area for at least 2 weeks.

    • Avoid bending over or lying down immediately after your treatment. (So no downward facings dogs)

  • Post Filler Do’s

    • Keep hydrated, your skin loves water!

    • Use a cold compress if you notice swelling or tenderness.

    • Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night to reduce puffiness.

    • Enjoy your new look and give it a few days to fully settle.

    Post Filler Don’ts

    • No sleeping on your front 1st or 2nd night as this might flatten the filler.

    • No kissing after Lip Filler.

    • Avoid smoking for at least 24 hours after your treatment. The filler is still settling and smoking can create pressure or indentations on the lips, as well as introduce bacteria which increases the risk of infection.

    • Avoid touching, pressing, or rubbing the treated areas for at least 24–48 hours.

    • Don’t do intense exercise, saunas, or alcohol for the first 24–48 hours.

    • Avoid facial treatments like peels or microneedling for at least 2 weeks in the treated area.

  • Post Microneedling Do’s

    • After microneedling, let your skin breathe on the first day. The tiny micro-injuries leave your skin more vulnerable, so avoid applying products until day two, when you can start with gentle skincare.

    • Day 2 - Keep your skin clean and hydrated, use gentle, soothing products.

    • Drink plenty of water to support skin recovery.

    • Wear SPF daily, your skin will be extra sensitive to the sun.

    • Change your pillowcase regularly, clean pillowcases help your skin heal and prevent irritation.

    • Be patient, results appear gradually over the following weeks. For the best outcome, consistency is key, optimal results are usually seen after your second and third sessions.

    Post Microneedling Don’ts

    • Avoid touching or picking at your skin.

    • Don’t use harsh exfoliants, acids, or retinol for at least 5–7 days.

    • Skip saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise for 48 hours.

    • Avoid heavy makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment.

    • Change your pillowcase regularly to help your skin stay fresh and prevent irritation.

    • Be patient, skin booster results appear gradually over the following weeks. For the best outcome, book your follow-up sessions, as the second treatment activates the first and really makes your skin glow.

    • Bring sunglasses to your appointment, especially if you’re having under-eye treatment. It just helps you feel more comfortable afterwards if there’s any initial swelling or puffiness.

    • Keep the area clean and leave it alone as much as possible for the first 24 hours.

    • Stay hydrated, water really helps support healing and skin recovery.

    • Take arnica pills before treatment if you’re prone to bruising or swelling.

    • Apply a cold compress gently if you notice any mild swelling or tenderness.

    • Let your skin do its thing, results improve gradually over the next 1–2 weeks as collagen and elastin start to activate.

    After Polynucleotides — Don’ts

    • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.

    • Skip intense exercise, alcohol, and saunas for the first 24 hours post treatment.

    • Avoid facials, peels, microneedling, or other active skin treatments for at least 2 weeks.

    • Try not to apply makeup for the first 12–24 hours (especially in the under-eye area) to keep things clean and reduce irritation.

    • Avoid lying flat straight after treatment, stay upright for a few hours to help everything settle properly.
